Photographer's Note
Middle Ahr valley from Walporzheim upstream is very narrow, sometimes only offering space for the river, a road and the railway tracks. There is not much room for villages or smaller settlements - a situation completely unfamiliar for our Dutch friends.
This here is the downstream end of Altenahr, with the ruins of Are castle, the twin railway tunnel, Ahr river and the inevitable parking lot.

Hello Sven,
You have used the f/g tree well, as it seems to work in tandem with the high cliffs, to squeeze the river, the carpark and the railway track into a narrow space.
The castle is so well placed, completely commanding the view from the upper regions.
Lovely light and refections in the water.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Sven Erich,
A good vertical photo of the water of the river in the foreground and the cliffs in the distance, bathing in a bright sunlight. The castle stands proudly on top of them.

Hello Sven
Wonderful blue skylight reflections in the river, with excellent sharpness and well framed and composed. The sunlit yellow green water contrasts nicely with the blue tones. Tfs!
