Er war das Wahrzeichen der Expo in Hannover: der Erdgeist. Die von Andr� Heller geschaffene 14 Meter hohe efeubewachsene Skulptur eines stilisierten Vogels, hat eine lange Reise hinter sich. Hergestellt in 謘terreich, aufgestellt am Pavillon des World Wide Found for Nature (WWF) auf dem Expo-Gel鋘de, dort wieder demontiert und steht jetzt im Mettlacher Abteipark in unmittelbarer N鋒e des Alten Turms.

It's an original and eye-catching sculpture captured in a very bright and clear photo. I guess the strange bird receives new "feathers" now and then.

You have photographed it with excellent clarity, to allow viewers to make judgements.

Bonjour Jean Claude, a strange sight, more than worthy of a shot.
The body part is almost human.
It is a very original piece. It must need trimming on a regular basis.

It should be a 100 point shot here for sure :)
I love these unique subjects, and this is certainly one of them. If we look VERY closely we can see the outline structure of the bird or whatever it is :) Very eye catching, very unusual and cool. great post for TE. cheers
