I took this photo from the observation deck of the Olympic Tower (Olympiaturm) in Munich as well. It shows the headquarters of car manufacturer BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke) and the BMW Museum in the foreground. BMW Headquarters was built at the same time as the Olympic Park, located opposite.

Hej Lars,
Jag antar att den runda logotypen fanns innan det nya huvudkontoret byggdes, och s� tyckte n錱on att det vore bra att stapla s錮ana rundlar p� varandra till 鰊skv鋜d h鰆d. V鋜ldens enklaste kontorsdesign. Det 鋜 onekligen en ansl錯nde byggnad, och den passar ju bra in arkitektoniskt i olympiamilj鰊. Den ser fortfarande lite futuristisk ut efter mer 鋘 50 錼. En intressant och v鋖tagen bild.

Goedenavond Lars,

Ik heb deze torens van BMW nog nooit zo mooi gezien.
U heeft de kans gekregen om de foto uit de hoogte te fotograferen.
Zo scherp en zo helder van kleur

It's always nice to see these buildings, with their unusual shapes. The foreground of this photo is futuristic-looking, while the houses and buildings in the background are more traditional. That creates a nice contrast of styles. Take care!

Hallo Lars,
De Olympiaturm was ideaal om de hoofdzetel van BMW en het BMW museum mooi naast elkaar op de foto te krijgen. Eigenlijk onder elkaar.
Beide gebouwen zijn wat design betreft zeer opmerkelijk.
Ook merkwaardig is dat de grote cylinders een open tussenruimte gekregen hebben. Moest dit gebouw in de US staan, zou ik denken dat men de 13de verdieping wilde vermijden maar wanneer ik goed kijk, zou daar eigenlijk de 12de verdieping horen. Tenzij men het gelijkvloers zou mee tellen. Doch dit is Duitsland en niet de US...

This is such a famous and characteristic sight. I had the pleasure to see it from the top but I have never actually ventured inside. Very impressive architecture. And you are standing next to Bayerische Motor Werke and Stadium of Bayern Munchen, two trade marks of the region, ha ha

A great view that shows us in a preferential place in the fabulous building of the "BMW", as I see the shape of the building I think it is in the form of a four-leaf trebol.

Hi Lars,
It is an impressive building of modern architecture. I especially like the design of the museum. I guess the logo was painted with the tower visitors in mind. As this shot is from the tower, lots of people have the same angle on photos, including me. But the framing and light are just right.

Excellent Lars that you were able to get such a magnificent high viewpoint so that you were actually looking down on this amazing tower.
I am sure that it must be visible from miles around.
The people and the cars below are tiny!
