Photographer's Note
When I saw ***THIS PHOTO***, from dear TE friend, ***Dimitris Pap (dip)***, I thought that this would be a great subject, for a long shutter speed (exposure time :124 seconds).
In the photo you can see the ferry boat “Mediterranean Sky”, that has been lying at the sea area Skalistiri of Elefsina. It looks soooo tired lying half sunken there for 5 years, I wish it has sweet dreams!

¿1024 segundos?

Hello Hercules,
Excellent long exposure job! It was a good idea to try and it worked very well.
Great composition and excellent, strong colours, especially the blue. With this kind of a colour, one would not even mind having the blues :-)
TFS and have a nice weekend!

Hi Hercules
A good long exposure that has flattened out the water and smoothed the sky. Of course the blue hour helps create a more artistic shot. I wonder why it has been left to rust for so long? They must be arguing over who foots the bill.

Hi Hercules!
Very good idea to photograph this wrecked ship! The color of the sea's wonderfully dark blue and the title is perfect for this image! The whole picture has interesting and eye-catching elements like the other ships, lights and mountains in the bg! The cloud sky adds a menacing feeling to it as well!
TFS - congratulations!

Hi Hercules,
excellent work!
The ship looks incredible like really cut in half and laying on a flat surface diagonally. Amazing blue colors. The sky so dramatic. Panorama on the horizon spectacular. I love this composition. Very surprising and impressive.
Congratulations,

Kalimera hercules,
i get the blues when i see shipwrecks like this one. There are still the lifeboats aboard. The long expoure gives a special mood, you're right. I find the colours great and amazing. Thank you

Γεια σου Ηρακλή,
Εξαιρετική λήψη και σύνθεση, η αντίθεση του πλοίου με το γαλάζιο φόντο πολύ όμορφη, τα δε χρώματα και η ατμόσφαιρα υπέροχα.

Hola Hercules,
Josep

hello Hercules,
the deep blue colour is fascinating, almost hypnotic, especially with the surreally smooth surface of the water. there's something almost sad how the ships in the background pass the ferry in the foreground as a constant reminder of the dangers of the sea. excellent work, my compliments.
best,
Kristine

Incredible result with such a long exposure. It allowed to get an exasperated smoothness of sea and sky that gives special atmosphere. I appreciate very much these extreme shooting parameters

Geia sou Hercules, this composition is wonderful and so appropriately entitled. The cobalt tones of the water and sky just blow me away. Shipwrecks are among my favourite subjects and this is a superb example. I hope you don't mind that I've used it for my Theme. Great work, it's such a pleasure looking at it. Enjoy your weekend, TFS, Lisa

Wonderful blue and purple tones. That is a nice shipwreck and it seems so lonely sleeping in the vast sea of blue. Nice that it is slightly at a diagonal in the composition.

Hola Hercules.
Buen trabajo.
Feliz fin de semana.
Saludos.

Hello Hercules,
Very amazing shot. With a long exposure time, you make this scene very unreal.
The quality of your shot is perfect and the contrast between the blue and the red is beautiful.
A very nice blue-white-red shot, colors of my country ! ;-)

Excellent pair of twilight pictures of this wreck. I think I prefer this one with more dynamic angle and constant traffic of more lucky ships in the background.

Hello Hercules,
Of the two excellent photographs presented on this shipwreck I have a very favorite for this one. I find that the ship is more emphasized here. I like much this splendid effect of the long exposure which gives the impression of a ship solidified in the ices. The blue hour is superb and the smoothness of the image is remarkable. Very beautiful photograph, cheer and thank you Hercules. On the other hand I do not understand why the lifeboats were not recovered !!!
With all my friendships and a very good evening,
