Photographer's Note
The church of Áyos Títos (Saint Titus) is a orthodox church located in the centre of the historic part part of Iraklion, in a pretty half gardened square. It was built in 16th century by the Venetians, replacing an existing Byzantine church. It was converted to a mosque by the Ottomans, who also rebuilt it in 1856 after an earthquake. After the Turkish left Crete, it was renovated and consecrated again as a church in 1925.
Saint Titus was a Cretan disciple of Saint Paul and his skull is kept in the church.

Ola Jose,
excellent the quality of the image during this brilliant day with the light to enhance the vivid colours, the details as the contrast between them.I like the vertical side walls of the old church of Agios Titos, with the two palm trees to looks like as guards of the entrance.

Hello Jose,
a very attractive and unusual church, I like very much how you almost filled the frame with the building, leaving the necessary space and a few attractive and eloquent details around it. The sharpness of your description is superb and, once again, you managed the strong light with remarkable effectiveness. The colours are lovely and natural, the contrasts are irresistible. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great afternoon,
Ourania

Hello Jose,
The head on view of the church works well creating a nicely balanced shot. The lighting is great yielding fine color and detail. The woman walking toward the building adds scale and life to the scene. I would like to have seen a bit more of the overhanging tree on the right to add framing.

Asa

Hello Jose,
Excellent photo of the church, you caught it with great sharpness here and the blue sky works together really well with the white stones of the building. The lonely person nicely adds scale.

Bonsoir Jose,
Les palmiers aident au cadrage de l'église. La présence de la personne a un effet d'échelle de grandeur. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'église. Bonne soirée.
