This is a panoramic view of the old harbour of Iraklion. On the left we can see the Venetian fortress, known locally as Koules (from the Turkish "Kule"; tower or fort), a common name to old fortresses in Crete, and called Rocca al Mare ("Fortress on the Sea") by the Venetians. The new port lies close to the yellow building on the center, where we can see a big ferry. If I am not wrong, on the right we can see the port Venetian warehouses or shipyards.
The image is a stitch of 4 vertical shots.

La version large permet d'apprécier au mieux la beauté de ce port inondé de soleil. Seule la voiture "gêne" un peu la vue.

Ola Jose ,
A fine panoramic view of the old port ; with the typical little boats in the FG . Beautiful light and colors . It would have been better , may be , without the car , but it was there ...

Hello José,
A wonderful clear and colourful composition.
The picture has a good depth and a lot of interesting elements to show us.
This is one of the most beautiful images of the harbour of Iraklion that I've seen, and I have to admit that I wasn't really impressed by the reality.
I'm a little unsure by the inclusion of the car in the corner. Too bad there wasn't a horde of cats as we see so often in Greece :)
Best regards, Paul

Hello Jose,
the view you are offering us is comprehensive and very enjoyable. You've included a lot of interesting elements to keep our eyes and mind busy and found a smooth way to guide us around the frame. I like very much how you combined the wide lens view with a panoramic format. The view is deep and clear and your composition has delightful dynamism. You managed the light very aptly, the colours are well defined and lovely. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,
Ourania

Hi José,
Excellent picture with the perfect POV.
The concrete construction on the right side seem to guide the boats to the opening of the marina.

Hi Jose
Impressive use of wide lens to its greatest impact and what a great compo we have here which is nicely organised & neat in this layout. Exposure cant be better with pleasant contrasting colours. An intriguing harbour scene that evokes a special atmosphere and its own charm. Fine capture, tfs.

Olá José!
Conseguiste um bom resultado com as quatro fotos! A panorâmica está óptima e dá uma visão muito boa da marina. A luz e as cores também ficaram muito boas.
