Some dry docked boats in front of a residence in Lagkada on the Island of Chios The 'C' is silent when pronouncing (c)Hios. The village is 16 km north of the town of Chios and easy to reach by public bus. Only the 2nd upload to this location on TE!

I am still coming back to my memories of the last summer in Greece.

Hello Chris,

Some dry docked boats in front of a residence in Lagkada, but not a real dry dock, but here can the owner work at the boat.
The frontages of the houses care for lovely clear colour.
Composition and presentation are excellent.

Only the second upload, but the original was from you! It looks like you may reveal the beauty of this attractive, Greek location!

This is a lovely sharp photograph, with a strong emphasis on the blue and white of Greece.
You have carefully positioned the boats across the frame, to make a strong f/g, with fine details of the houses to create b/g interest. There are no distractions in this fine close-up.

The houses at left keeping a good eye on fishermen's possessions confirm without any doubt the seaward vocation of valorous people, while informing of a rigorous taste for the lovely Greek decorative style.

These boats on a dry land are a hood subject for a photo. I really like all the bright colours of this one. Dark blue details on the house and boats. And dark red flowers.

the houses has the points of the roof with the ancient greek adornments, probably a recreation of the national pride during 19th century.
