A view to Ayia Marina and the Castle of Leros from the nearby beach. A quiet afternoon with a few frustrated anglers shifting positions and refreshing their hopes; a lady and her little daughter collecting shells; a few passers-by taking their brisk afternoon walk and myself stopping every few steps to take pictures on my way back from work.

Hello Ourania,
The sea is remarkably dark blue, save for a few smaller areas where we see the drawn out reflections of the houses in the village. The curve of the hill is lined with small clouds that could perhaps have caused very local showers. It could have been nice to see the frustrated anglers or the lady with her daughter, but you decided to show this very picturesque view with the intense colours and the bright light shining on the hill, and that is quite all right with me.

That's a beautiful sky, full of energy and activity and colour. At first sight this looked like a shot I've seen of the giants causeway in Antrim. I love the polls of stillness in the sea.

Hello Ourania,
There are a few very dark clouds in the sky but it doesn't look like a threatening sky. The clouds are floating in a larger blue whole. A little rain shower will soon be followed by sunshine.
I guess that above you a larger cloud was hanging, given the fact that the beach is completely in the shade.
Pretty colours of the houses, the hill and the sky and they all are well reflected in the sea.

everything looks rather calm despite the large cloud coverage above. and its interesting to see how the mountain is mostly un used in terms of buildings. lovely views in this lighting, wish I was here. cheers

It really feel outside as spring already, also here in Israel.
Wonderful calm water surface on this famous bay on TE.
The view from the shaded beach strip in the FG and out to the well lit slopes across marvelously composed on photo.

Hello Ourania,
A delightful image to view on a very cold almost spring day here in South-West France. The sky is quite delightful with those puffy clouds and contributes much to the atmosphere of the composition. Nicely exposed with very good colours and clarity. Some lovely warm reflections to be observed in the otherwise intensely blue sea.

Hi Ourania,
you have a wonderful scenery to admire on your way to work! I am actually driving near a complex of chemical factories, one of the largest in the world or so it was in the past at least.
I would much prefer the view like in your photo :)
The light was extraordinary, I suppose characteristic to winter with deep shades present in the foreground. Nice spot very well used! The sky add an attractive decoration.
