Photographer's Note

One of the anglers I mentioned in the note that accompanied my second last picture (he looks very tiny and dim it, close to the right border.)
He was probably new to the sport and, while the experienced anglers were sitting together in the shade lamenting that they hadn't caught anything at all the whole afternoon, he braved the odds at the edge of the jetty. I think he was listening to them and, even though he turned around two or three times and saw me, taking pictures which apparently included him as well, he didn't say anything, just looked back at the sea and kept waiting.

Well "placed" the angler in blue when stood at the edge of the jety, and gave much space for the bay and far both sides corners of the land.
Water surface appearing marvelously smooth and has at least two blue diff. toes.
Spotted beautiful moment, and well applied.

The sky is quite beautiful and serves to give the image a great sense of depth. The lone angler at the end of the jetty makes a well defined focal point. Agreeable lights and colours; excellent sharpness.

The man is standing in a small area of very good light. His clothes and his bag add three tones of blue to the already rich variety of "blues" of the sea and the sky. It's a very attractive composition with a good atmosphere and a fine light.

Nice presence of the angler.
I always like the touch of man and nature.
When I photograph unknown people always panic and look to do it until I see it and in the rush I usually escapes sharpness. :)

Wonderful vertical image, that gives a great panorama, from the edge of the sea with the man climbed to that sort of landing, and the great perspective, of the two ends of the coast, that seem to enclose a beautiful bay, the spectacular sky is a Great bonus.
