Photographer's Note
From my 2012 archives:
Towering Cummulunimbus clouds above the south-Agaean sea.
An imaginary "baby-face" in the formation on mid-picture, and another "face" on left side.
Picture was taken from an Airbus320 flight from Tel-Aviv to Verona.
The window-glass acting as a filter. Applied auto-contrast by Photoscape.

Dobar dan, popodne.
Lep pogled iz aviona i trenutak ...
Dobar trenutak snimka i kontrast, lepo pokazani oblaci koji donose nevreme.
Dobar rad, lepo ulovljen trenutak.
Bar ste sigurni u avionu od nevremena, samo ste prosli pored opasnih oblaka.
Lepo popodne i sve najbolje.
Paja.
Good afternoon, this afternoon.
Nice view from the plane and a moment ...
Good moment recording and contrast nicely displayed clouds that bring the storm.
Good work, beautiful captured moments.
At least you're safe in the plane of the storm, you just passed by threatening clouds.
Nice afternoon and all the best.

Hi Ike,
The wideness of this area of the sky is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the clouds. «the good luminosity is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,
something I know from my own flight traveling. Clouds are almost always a beautiful sight. They inspire the imagination. Of course, I also see faces in it. Many faces actually. But also other things. As I said ... a playground for the imagination.
This image has beautiful blue tones and great contrasts, fine, shows sharp contours of the clouds, although it actually is "only" water mist.
I call it beautiful!
All the best and a great weekend

Hi Ike
Clouds are great subjects that always changing and sometimes unusual. They also really can add that extra touch to a landscape but sometimes we take them for granted. This is striking image, the contrast is spot on, well exposed and super tones. Great that you were able to eliminate the glare from the glass window. An immense capture and tfs

Hello Ike,
South Aegean, this could well be above Leros as so many aerial routes pass high over the island. You were lucky to have a clean and lucid window on the plane and you captured a fascinating 3D cloudscape through it. I like very much the play of the light with the atmospheric shadows. The graduating blue tones look harmonious and dramatic at the same time. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,
Ourania

Hello Ike,
I also enjoy the views through the window of a plane and often I'm amazed about that wonderful world of clouds.
They're in all shapes and variations and are to me an infinite world of fantasy.
Excellent capture!

Hello Ike
A good idea that turned out very well in this wonderful cloud-picture. Lots of interesting shapes here. Clouds captured from the ground with a blue background are a more common sight, so this is kind of refreshing. Great work! Thanks.
PS! Incredible that you slept on a bench in Flåm 34 years ago. I guess that was a cold pleasure.
Have a nice WE.

Hello Ike,
Yes, this is a surprisingly "clean" image from behind the window pane of an airliner. What airline were you flying, they must keep their windows really clean? The huge mountains of water vapor look quite sharp.

Hi Ike,
I'm always fascinated by the cloud formations at these altitudes, it definitely offers a perspective you don't get from the ground. Plus, it fun to use your imagination as to what shapes they form, helps pass the time, yeah? :) This is a fun configuration, and although there's not much one can do in the way of avoiding a simple shot from the window, this still holds a lot of appeal. It's also very relatable to anyone that's ever flown...which I have to assume is pretty much all of us. :) Have a great weekend. Take good care.
Friendly wishes,
Jason

Ciao Ike
ottima la qualità nonostante il finestrino.
Queste nuvole sono gigantesche e c'è un bellissimo gioco di luci e ombre che ne delineano ii movimenti rendendoli quasi tridimensionali.

Hello Ike,
Since taking an interest in photography, the sky and the clouds have created an unquenchable interest in me! How interesting that you should have made it the complete subject of your photograph! Of course, you need a certain viewpoint for such a shot ... an aeroplane or a mountain top!
This is fascinating!
I could almost swear that the clouds are shifting!
A wonderful, ethereal shot, that I really like.
Have a great Sunday,
Bev :-)

Not only simple cloud formations but a modern "artwork".
There are no limits for a good "photographers eye" which do not only look but can also see.

Hi Ike,
High in the sky always gives interesting possibilities. At least if you are outside the clouds and not inside the cloud. It is a good idea to give us a lesson in meteorology.

Good presentation with the tight frame to be very interesting.

Hello Ike
I saw the baby face 'blowing' with inflated cheeks on the lower clouds!
I try to imagine the thrills of pilots seated at front
of aircraft, charging into those huge formations without any harm!

Hi Ike,
Hope you didnt have too much turbulence! They look like Cumulonimbus clouds typical of thunderstorms. The cauliflower appearance and repetition are great and I like the high pov from above, presumably from an aircraft. (Confirmed after reading the title, lol!) Tfs!

Hi Ike,
very photogenic cloud formation indeed. I truly admire people who are able to take good quality photos from a plane, even more than photos of a plane ha ha
This is more Trek Sky then Trek Earth I suppose :)
Very well done,
