Your photo has captured a part of Greece I have not seen before. The monasteries or residences (or palaces?) built above the stone mountains are impressive. Your photo is verydescriptive. Showing the sorroundings around the monasteries is a good choice.

Je vous imagine, palette et pinceau en mains, en train de peindre au bord de la falaise cette "merveille du monde" que j'ai eu le plaisir de visiter!
Une profondeur infinie est ici donn閑 par la vue des arbustes "sous les pieds" relative au d閏or lointain voil� par l'humidit� et je remarque que la r鑗le des tiers, gage d'une disposition 閘間ante, est aussi connue des peintres!

Hello Adrian, I have been posting on this website, off and on for over five years, and this shot is one of the best that I have seen. The enormity of the mountains and cliffs are amazing. Your point of view to take this shot was perfect. The monastery literally shines in the small area below the mountain of rock. Overall, there is so much depth in this shot and it is almost like a painting. My wife is a successful painter and this could be a painting. Plaudits for your efforts here. Regards, Rooger

what a view! I've seen Meteora monasteries myself more than 12 years ago, could never forget that view.

The monastery is well placed to the left bottom with the rock formation on the right adding to the composition very well. TFS, best regards, F.

Meteora is one of my favourite places in Greece and your photo shows all its appeal and beauty... You managed to capture not only one but two of the monasteries, rocks as well as the valley below. Depth of field is great and everything is nice, clear & sharp... Love it!
