Probably one of the most famous streets in Greece, if not in whole Europe, is this one, known as the "Avenue of the Knights", or "Street of the Knights" in the heart of the Medieval town Rhodes, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Καλησπέρα Ηρακλή,
πολύ όμορφη και ατμοσφαιρική παρουσίαση αυτού του μοναδικού δρόμου με την παμπάλαιη ιστορία. Πολύ καλή η προοπτική που μας οδηγεί να διασχίσουμε το δρόμο ως την έξοδο κάτω από την αψίδα με εξαιρετικό φωτισμό κατά μήκος όλης της διαδρομής. Ωραία και ακριβής παρουσίαση της αρχιτεκτονικής, ένα ταξίδι στο χρόνο. Φαντάζομαι την οδό φωτισμένη από πυρσούς...

maybe its because i'm not european, but this is the first time i'm hearing about this street.
what time of day was this? morning or evening blue hour..the street is so empty!
that emptiness adds to the mystique.
lovely colors, basically just two, yellow and blue - which always go well together in photos.
excellent blue hour lighting.

Me gusta el contraste entre el cielo todav韆 azul y la arquitectura medieval, bellamente iluminada, con esos tonos dorados tan eficaces.
La perspectiva es elegante y profunda con una gran nitidez de la imagen.

Hello Hercules,
I remember this street of my visit of R骴os in 1983.
This is absolutely a fantastic presention of it and a wonderful blue hour picture with the golden brown colour of the buildings opposite the different blue tones in the sky.
Perfect sharpness of everything, nice view towards the arch at the end of the street, good view of the architectural details of the house on the corner on the FG, good capture of the light rays of the streetlanterns.

fantastic composition. The street seems very simple but you have captured it at the best possible timing with the spectacular sky which creates a wonderful atmosphere. I like the illumination along the road it is not excessive which helped you to get a balanced exposition. Plus closed aperture resulted in pleasant star shaped lights. Great asymmetric composition with the door in the foreground. A real masterwork, TFS

I remember well this street from several visits to the magical medieval city. Your photo, rich in vibrant colors and excellent depth-of-field, creates a timeless appearance. I just looked at my assignment next September. Unhappily, it does not stop off in Rhodes, but does visit Corfu and Mykonos.
