View from Corfu Fort, a photo from Kerkyra, Ionian Islands

Photographer's Note

The marvellous view from the summit of Corfu Fort. I stood on the inner edge of the wall to get a better view but it is well over a metre wide, so unless you are scared of heights, no problem. The old town can be seen in the distance along with the international ferry port and one of the boats to Bari in Italy.

very nice the view as the presentation of the panoramic view of Corfu port,from the fort.

You've got that right! What a viewpoint is right!
Stunning views at every turn here. Love the various xolors in the water too, especially when mixed with the sandstone coloring.

The distance between the Harbour and the mountains is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of this area of Corfu. The quality of the light is bringing out the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Why to tell the true and break the magic of the almost aereal view? only spoiled by the big (hate them) white ship at the far left
Anyway you obtained a great panoramic from the top of the fort, with great contrast between golden color buildings and the mediterranean sea
Like the waiting white ships to add some contrast and the mountains looming at the back

Capture that deserved to clim so, so high, congrats

The view is indeed marvelous. Amazing colour of water, splendid architecture. I have vertigo so I wouldn't make such photo probably. I am rather crazy traveller, but this trip of yours seems to me more crazy then mine. You visited so many places in short time, incredible.

You offer us a splendid perspective over this attractive town. I like the contrast in tone between the two main parts of the image, whilst the jetty coming in bottom right makes a good pointer toward the town. Light, colours and sharpness are all very good.

Good evening Chris,
The strait between Corfu island and the mainland Greece, is merely a small pass, assuming some millions of years ago the island was attached to.
Fine blue sea and a wonderful town built along, big vessel and small bats "painted" the seascape from the point taken this view.
