Usually I don't buy the stereotype souvenirs but I have to admit that I've never seen these shoes in a shop in Greece.
They surely provide a very colourful composition.

Pictures of souvenirs are often (always?) much more interesting and attractive that the souvenirs itself, especially when they there is a large bunch of it with clear colours.
It only takes a good photographer to eternalize the scene.

Yes every country has its own unique type of shoes, just like greece

The woven ball at front of the shoe makes it very cute ^_^

These shoes remind me the shoes which I saw on the soldiers in Athens. They also had those charming balls on top for decoration.
They would be probably too warm for the summer.
