Photographer's Note

Hello everybody,just returned from the dreamily Limnos island located at the NE of Aegean sea.Fifteen days were enough to 'recharge' my batteries.

A small, sandy,clear,secluded and natural small bay named Κοκκινόβραχος,red rock,is the place of existence of surfers and kitesurfers as enjoying these sports.

I see a lady in red... Danos, but you were right about the rock, it has a reddish texture compare to the surrounding.

Aren't Greek beaches wonderful? The lady in the red bikini beside the umbrellas, caught my eye at left. Good sharpness and the large rock connected to the beach with a thin albeit temporary peninsula of sand and rock, adds interest. Tfs!

The red of the bathing suit is an eye-catcher. The wideness of the sea is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the beach, of the rock and of the mountains. The light is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.

An idyllic location of a striking bay taken from the best vantage point as the heavenly blue water makes such a huge difference. Lighting is superb brings out some rich tones, contrast and there's much to savour the eye. Speck of vivid red is a fine addition. Great shot, good composition and pleasant to view, Congrats

Not so sure about the red rock, but I do see a red bikini haha. I like how the scene flows, it has strong curves yet also strong straight lines. wonderful exposure and varying shades of blues/greens. nice one. cheers

Hello Danos,

You looked carefully at this scene and recognised the importance of those rocks, in the sea, which play a strong pert in your composition. They are well placed and ensure that viewers follow the curve of the beach, in their journey towards the b/g. The lady in red makes a good counterbalance.
The colours are sumptuous and inviting, really portraying the mood which is very typically Greek.

A beautiful view of the coastline. I really like the contrast between the deep blue sea and the warmer tones of the sand and rocks. The parasols and the lady in red add some human presence.
