Photographer's Note

In one of my previous posts ( SEE HERE ), I had uploaded a photo of the main square of Makrinitsa (or Makrynitsa) writing that from the last row of tables you could enjoy a magnificent view.

So here's the view, the city of Volos, the port and part of Pagasitikos Gulf. I think that it's easily understood why Makrinitsa is called "The balcony of Volos" or the "The balcony of Pagasitikos". A diferent night view of Volos, HERE.

Yes, I will surely enjoy a view like this with a fine dinner or snack. Very nice capture of 15s to show the scenery and really impressive POV.

How nice it would be to see a lovely couple sitting on that table and having dinner while enjoying the view! Perhaps that is dreaming about me and Jane!

Ah! Hercules,
you are really good at night scenes: this picture is perfect both tecnically and as a composition. Very clear details in the foreground and a wonderful panorama in the background.
Also the colours are perfect (the other time you have exaggerated a bit (:-)

Hi, Hercules -

A good effort at capturing a difficult lighting situation. I don't think it quite succeeds - look at the greenish reflections on the chair back. And there is an overall purplish cast, though I suspect that was really how it looked. But a good effort, and the scene is great; I do so want to be sitting at that table with a glass of good wine!

Una magnifica foto panor醡ica desde un alto POV captando toda la belleza nocturna de Makrinitsa.
La presencia en primer plano proyecta una perspectiva y profundidad excelente. Me gustan las luces de la ciudad pero mas que todo me encantar韆 estar sentado en esa silla con una copa de vino disfrutando de esa impresionante vista.
