Photographer's Note
In my last post, Glass Giannena , I wrote about the 2 citadels, or "acropolis" inside the castle of Ioannina, and you could see the Aslan Pasha Mosque, on the Northeast acropolis. Here you can see a photo from Its Kale, the southeast "acropolis" of the castle, where infamous Ali Pasha had its palace (If you want to read more about the very interesting story of Ali Pasha, CHECK HERE ).
Here you can see the Fethiye mosque, constructed in 1795. In front of the mosque, lies Ali Pasha's tomb, covered by an elaborated iron grating. So here's a photo of the mosque "through" the tomb.
***Two years ago I had taken an horizontal photo of the same subject, which you can SEE HERE.

Quite a remarkable photo. Taking the mosque from inside this fine cage was a smart idea: this nice embroidery is added to the beauty of the architecture. Quite original.
Well done,

Hi again,
real fine and delicate work, this iron grating looks like lace! It's a clever decision to photograph the mosque through the grating. I think I was seen something similar here in TE a long time before, may be in your galery once more.

Hello Hercules,
Indeed, the iron grate here is presented as a beautiful veil and we look through the eyes of a veiled woman.
This together with the interesting architecture and the blue sky make it a great picture.

ela giritli mou... i loved the horizontal one before, and i love this one as well... this lace-like iron work adds a lot to the charm of the shot... makes it an extraordinary one, not one of those every day mosque shots we have around...

(Me dejaron confundida jajaja)

Hello Hercules,
Interesting to see how the old architecture is filtered through the pattern of the wrought iron!
Well balanced composition with good details, the strong blue sky makes a fine background...

Hello dear Hercules,
In the lacework there is an abstract art, a most alluring piece. The Old mosque seen through the iron grid just makes a colorful background, exquisitely composed, flawlessly exposed. Warm regards and have a good weekend,
