This is simply beautiful Attila. The strong diagonals lead the eye to the setting/rising sun. So calm as your title suggest due to the soft pastel colours.

Great shot, Attila. Perfect reflection and nice, subtle colours. The sun is also very unusual and eye-catching. Perhaps it was aggod idea not to attempt to include the whole boat - this is an effective composition. Regards,

Something curious is happening to me now, I have been looking at the photo for a while now and still find difficulties in describing what I see... except saying that is simply stunning.

For me this the best series that you've posted on TE.
I love the soft tones you've capture here.
And the reflections of the clouds on the water are great.

Hi Attila,
A fantastic photo. The so smooth light and tones create an effect of confusion between the water and the really beautiful and mysterious sky.
The line of the horizon almost is not seen, only the sun with its reflection indicates us. The reflected clouds and the sky in the water create the optical illusion to us that the wharf is hung in the air, maintaining the boat.
An image of calm and exceptional peace. It increases my list of favorites.

Simply wonderful, the lake seems like a mirror. The photo expresses calmness but also solitude... because of the empty boat. The final reflection (thought) for this picture: life is a journey, our final goal is to reach the light... but you will be alone. Or even better: help yourself and god will help you ;)
