Ice Angel, a photo from Budapest, West

Photographer's Note

The place
Unfortunately this year we don抰 have any ice sculpture because of the warm winter�
This one was exhibited last year, in front of the most visited shopping center in Budapest.

The picture and my feelings
I gave him the name Ice hero first but I wasn抰 right because later I found some definitely female curves on the picture. OK than she is an Ice Angel.

She is facing to the sky ready for the departure. I hope that everybody has an angel and this angel can help if we are in trouble. I think most of the time we don抰 recognize her presence or how she or he taking care of us. Sometimes one tiny nice moment or one flash of the beauty is more than enough. This Ice Angel gave this happy feeling for the visitors and a good opportunity for me as a photographer. She had done her job :)

Hi Miklos. Happy 39th. One has the right to be sentimental and philosophical and there should be no need to say sorry, just because the "barbarians" (take your pick) have invaded our lives.Your PoV has given this subject an ephemeral quality and a transient beauty- more the reason to drink it all in. Pretty sculpture and well captured!
I think it is wise to use the beautiful blue sky as backdrop, and the light plays nicely in the ice...
Well framed, but I'm a bit curious about the rest of the wing!

Hi Miklos. You did a great job of showing off the textures to be found in the ice. I love the POV as it really sells the shot so well. The deep blue sky makes for a most pleasant background. Great shot Miklos!

Maybe wee are happy with these warm winter but indeed for the ice sculptures is this a catastophe, very well picture, certainly the blue colour tintes, very well done!

Although your gallery is full of some of the most amazing images that I have seenr ecently I was hit by this one particularly because of its bold concept, innovation and overall composition which is based on a good concept.I simply love the way you have paintd the colourless and have taken it against a vibrant and fresh background making it such a beautiful image.
