Is it really that green, or is the photo hyper-saturated? From the date it was taken, I guess this is a scanned photo. Anyway, nice composition.

I'm fascinated to see Iceland. It has such rich resources to see. I've seen many pictures in TE from Iceland and this is one other mater piece.

cool view over the valley
Have been there so would take it as read that it has been saturated somewhat.
Very Surreal but lots of Iceland strikes you in that way. Its like nowhere on earth, in fact you would be easily convinced you were on Mars at times

The balance between sky and the mountains is just about right, with the river just adding to the drama and mood.

I had never imagined Iceland as having such greenery. somehow I always have thought of it as a rocky volcanic place. Surprising! Great shot!

I think you have captured a lovely scene. My only gripe is that the obvious hue shift to make the grass greener has left the mountains purple!

Hi Paolo.

Seems like you're not very active at the site anymore, but I just have to critique this one. I thought I did it a long time ago, so I'll do it now.

This is one of the best pictures I've seen at TE. A great scenery and a great photographer use to be a superb combination, and this is absolutely no exception. The quality is of course not on a level which would be very good today, but for 1988 it's exceptional.

I love Iceland, and here you really show the best of it. I like the dramatic sky as well. TFS.
