Photographer's Note
Here you can see the turf houses of Núpsstaður, a small farm in South-Iceland, not far from Kirkjubæjarklaustur. This farm is a great representative of traditional Icelandic buildings, but it is most famous for its tiny turf church called Núpsstaðakirkja.
You can read more interesting info about the farm and the church here: https://guidetoiceland.is/connect-with-locals/regina/nupsstadur-turf-church-and-mt-lomagnupur
Check out the workshop for a photo of the small church!

Hello Marton ,
Those huts in the grass are so picturesque . The fact that they are not too much restored add to the charm .

Hello Marton
Like a scene from a fantasy tale. Also the background (waterfalls!) is impressive and plays its role here. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers

Heló Marci,
Jó látni, hogy újra aktív vagy és micsoda szép képpel tértél vissza! Olyan, mint egy hobbit falva.
Üdv,
Gy.

Interesting image of these singular houses, well placed in a really wild environement. The church is not one inch greater then necessary... In winter life here must be a hard fight...
