The Dropping Well is a classic Irish pub on a beautiful location by the River Dodder, to the south of the Dublin city centre. It's not the first time I see a veteran automobile next to a restaurant grabbing attention. That one is Austin 7.

Hello Kari,
I suppose the car doesn't belong to any of the regular pub guests, even though I noticed in 1968 that drunken driving was not unheard of in Ireland. But maybe times have changed. It's a very nice car anyway, and the building is just as nice. There was a fine coincidence to have the young woman walking by.

Nice view of this Irish pub. Lovely red walls. I was traveling alone in Ireland so I had not visited any pub. What for? I do not drink any beer. I like this old blue car.

I think this car could convince us that the photo was taken many years ago. Maybe you could turn it into black and white and it could well pretend to be ancient.
Very nice capture of the pub. If someone is interested in pubs there is no better country to go :)

Very nice! I think i prefer this one over the most famous pub in Dublin...just because its different and not so famous.
I"d love to see the inside. must be so much history here, maybe even some ghosts haha
