Procida 2022 - Italian Capital of Culture
It belongs to the group of Phlegrean islands.
Traditionally, the inhabited center is divided into nine districts, called granc靍: Terra Murata (the oldest village), Corricella (a characteristic fishing village, in the photo), Sent'c� with the commercial port of Marina Grande, San Leonardo, Santissima Annunziata (also called Madonna della Libera), Sant'Antuono, Sant'Antonio and Chiaiolella (a tourist port in the southern part of the island).

Ciaop Silvio, I know well this view of Procida. It is such a delightful city. I liked it very much. Nice memories for me. Excellent composition and colours.

This is a great view of the very pretty town by the water. Lots of beautiful houses in various pastel colours make this a very photogenic place. You had a perfect vantage point for this photo and composed it nicely balanced.

Ciao Silvio,
I see you made a fantastic trip to the south of the country! I had the chance to be in this area but having just a week I had too much to choose from. I did go to Capri which is more famous but I gave up on Procida which is more famous among photographers. Your picture well illustrates why. The view is amazing, the houses so colorful. The church adds some more character and interest.
Amazing point of view with a glimpse to the sea on the other side of the island.

There might not be any beach here but what a spectacular view! An array of colourful waterfront houses with good sharpness and almost as many boats moored in the harbour. Tfs!

What a beautiful and charming place located near the sea. You show the many houses from a great viewpoint and all their many different tones are really appealing. Also that little dome is a great eyecatcher.

Beautiful high viewpoint to this lovely old town. All the pastel tones of those houses go well together. Sea visible on both sides of the island give good maritime feeling.

Hello Silvio, from your elevated viewpoint you achieved a wonderful view of Procida. The pastel colours are beautiful, making this town very photogenic.
It's amazing how closely packed together are all the buildings, and from this point of view, there seems to be no space between the buildings for anyone to walk!

the shapes of these houses remind me the ones I found in greek islands, but those had no colors, were white. amazing group of houses in the edge of the abyss. nice details. TFS.

This high POV makes us feel like birds flying over the town. This is a wonderful view of all the tightly-packed houses, with the dome of the church standing out, and all the tiny boats dotting the water. Take care!
