Laghi di Fusine, a photo from Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Photographer's Note

A stone-throw from Slovenia, just across the border in Italy lie the majestic alpine lakes of Laghi di Fusine (or Belope歬i jezeri).

I've visited them in autumn of 2014 and the conditions were just great, the gentle autumn light shone through the forest and the beauty of it was spectacular.

I really get nervous when the scenes are so marvelous, because I tend to overdo with taking photos instead of enjoying the scene. It's hard to control myself. :)

I would definitly advise you visit these lakes if you're nearby.

Truly a wonderful forest picture and autumn scenery!
I like the composition with the path covered with fallen leaves and making a curve on the foreground.
Very pretty warm tones on the soil and of course also in the foliage of the trees.
Beautiful light and good clarity. Very nice with the many dark trunks in that strongly sunlit forest.

Lep pogled i trenutak, dobar tekst ...
Lepo pokazana staza u sumi sa opalim liscem, lepo uhvacen trenutak sa suncevim zracima koji su istakli lepotu prirode.
Dobar rad i kompozicija, lepe boje.
Lepa suma u jesen.
Prijatno vece i sve najbolje sa lepim secanjem na posetu Laghi di Fusine.

You're right : autumn is a marvelous season for walking in the mountains . And this year , october and november were just great , too .
Beautiful effect of the light in the folliage , and of the red leaves on the road .

I think this is my first time visiting your gallery, lots of nice shots to check out!

there's a little bit of blurring in the top left section, but the main highlights are the lighting, the red and yellow colour combinations, the winding walkway, and just the overall flow of the nature scene.

beautiful! love the addition of all the reds too.

What a wonderful autumn landscape indeed. The golden yellows, nicely lit from the sun, in the trees and the reds on the floor, paired with this gorgeous light makes this composition a real eye catcher indeed. I think this year autumn was exceptionally wonderful with many sunny days and a real explosion of colors everywhere.
