Photographer's Note
From upper Bergamo you can see a beautiful panoramic view of the city. The lights that stood out the most that evening were that of the stadium where Atalanta plays, the football team that has recently become famous for its participation in the Champion's League. The decisive march against Villareal was supposed to be played the following evening, but was postponed by a day due to a heavy snowfall. Unfortunately then Atalanta lost and did not qualify. Bergamo was the Italian city that had the most deaths during the first months of Covid, and part of this came from the match played against Valencia in March 2020, which then turned out to be a real biological bomb, causing thousands of infections. The photo was taken from a considerable distance and through tree branches.

Hello Luciano
Taken from considerable distance, as if you still think it is dangerous to go there :)
Not your best picture in technical terms, but as a football fan I had to leave a comment here. Liverpool - Atletico was another CL game that proved costly in terms of covid infections.
In Belgium football fans are allowed back at the stadium starting next weekend. Unfortunatley my hometown team (Antwerp) plays its next home game during the week before, so that's another game I'll be watching on TV in the pub with my mates instead of at the ground. It's not the same...

Hello Luciano,
This looks rather strange in the thumbnail, with a bright area surrounded by darkness. It's an eye-catching photo from this position, but it would not be a good place for anyone hoping to see the games without paying. ;-)

Ciao Luciano,
Very interesting note well illustrated with the night photo of the stadium.
I think we all heard about Italy being heavily touched with the very first wave of the virus, hence now probably such heavy restrictions.
England is slowly opening to normal, let's hope this year the life will be back to normal everywhere,

Ciao Caro Luciano,
Your photograph throws a light on the stadium and your notes throw a light on the Covid disaster!
Sometimes, the negative space in a photograph is as important as the positive, which I think happens here. The surrounding darkness emphasises the impact of the highlighted stadium. In the distance, tiny eyes light-spot eyes are watching from a safe distance!!
Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)

Hi Luciano
Story aside, it's a wonderful night shot showing portion of the stadium with great detail and lovely colours, balanced by the negative space. I like the lights on the whole photo

Hi Luciano
A good distant (and safe) photo of the site of a super spreader event. Good with all those other bits of light in the dark surrounds.
cheers

Hello Luciano,
It is a nice nocturnal view of the stadium. Was the club founded in 1907?

Hello dear Luciano
have a pleasant Sunday
your useful notes are
really sad and bring memories
into my mind because this Italian
city had the most deaths during
the first months of Covid...
...and the match was the main reason

Salut Luciano,

Hi Luciano,
Amazing tele shot showing empty stadium from far away. Good exposure. And sadly remarkable place of recent history.

Ciao Luciano,

Hi Luciano.
A magnificent composition and even more so taking into account the difficulties in capturing it, a beautiful photo with the colors of the stadium that, with good lighting, stand out in the blackness of the night.
Magnificent composition and color.
Excellent brightness and sharpness.
Good job. I love the photo.
Have a good week.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Luciano,
I remember the situation with the high number of COVID victims in Bergamo and the difficulties in the hospitals.
I knew Bergamo was located in the north of Italy but I just saw on a map that its location is actually very close to Milano. I didn't know that.
Was this photo taken from a secret place to watch matches without paying?
Best regards, Paul

Fairly well managed the contrast between the illuminated field / stadium and the dark surrounding, Luciano.
I remember the game written about, than the pandemic hit hard this city.
Have a nice new week,
Ike
