Vecchi cannoni a guardia dell'ingresso "secondario" della Caserma "Riva Villasanta".
Impianto militare gemello della contigua Caserma Monfenera apre il fronte della " cittadella militare " che inizia in viale Poetto con la parte posteriore della Caserma Mereu, e poi si inoltra verso piazza san Bartolomeo e dintorni ...fino a Calamosca, Sella del Diavolo.

Dei cannoni che ho chiamato "Spagnoli" non ho documenti certi ...e non ne ho trovato sul web.
Un ricordo mi � venuto, anzi due ... un ritrovamento i un cannone spagnolo integro, ed un'altro con lo smantellamento del molo " pennello" della vecchia darsena ..prolungamento dell'attuale molo "Ichnusa"

ci troviamo ancora nello stesso luogo. I cannoni hanno perso l' utilita' e... l' identita' da tanto tempo. In questa foto mi affascina la profondita', la precisissima resa di colori, tessiture e contrasti e la magnifica chiarezza nell' ombra. Complimenti e grazie!

Only after I made a trial on my PC, with photoscape, i managed to see the three cannons on this image.
This could have been a magnificent picture with the correct light.
A piece of history lay there.
