La Pelosa Beach is famous for the clarity of its waters and its white sand. Some say it抯 the most beautiful beach in all of Sardinia. If it weren't for the typically Mediterranean vegetation surrounding the beach, you'd swear you were in the tropics. La Pelosa Beach is located on the Golf dell'Asinara and the waters are calm due to the natural protection from the stacks of Capo Falcone and the island a few miles from the coast. The shallow water and fine white sand have make La Pelosa popular among families with children. I'd suggest visiting in the off-season both for the smaller crowds.

Hello Janusz,
This seems to be the ideal place for people to go to the sea with their small children.
The white sand is clearly visible through the transparent water.
With the exception of the rugged mountain slopes in the distance, this photo does indeed remind me of a distant tropical island.

I read recently that they've been having trouble in Sardinia with people "stealing" sand from the beach to take away from the island.
The sand is certainly very white. A beautiful scene well taken.

I really envy you for having to swim in this most stunning beach ..... the crystal clear water and soft white sand to die for. So beautiful.
How come I see that you always ended up with stunning beaches where ever you go. The photos in your gallery are the prove.
Thanks for the suggestion. Definitely worth thinking when this pandemic is over.
