Photographer's Note

The beautiful La Marmorata beach is located a few kilo meters from Santa Teresa Gallura, on the northern coast of Sardinia. It is quite extensive and sheltered from the mistral and is characterized by very fine cream-colored sand while the sea takes on colors ranging from emerald green to turquoise, very clear, with a predominantly sandy bottom.

A beautiful coastline with many gently rolling green hills and where sand and rocks alternate on the waterfront.

A good panoramic photo of the beach and surrounds with a beach of the colour that we are mainly used to in Australia. The water does look very clear as well.

The warmth of the sandy-coloured stone and tiles, make a very inviting f/g, whilst the other, horizontal layers show different colours and textures, to create an excellent sense of depth.

Hello Janusz, using the terraces in the foreground are a good way of leading our eyes deeper into the scene, and towards the beautiful sand and sea.
An idyllic scene.
