Tre Cime di Lavaredo from Monte Specie. Monte Specie is only a modest relief in the dewlap that surrounds the pool of Pratopiazza, located between the knight Plaetzwiese old and the Landro Valley. It can be reached by a walk grade. What makes it popular destination is the beautiful circular panorama of all Eastern Dolomites you can enjoy from its summit. The area where the routes has been the theater of war in the First World War. The most impressive evidence is given by the ruins of Fort Pratopiazza which is located at the Refuge Vallandro end of the plateau that overlooks the valley of Landro.
