'Leaving Lake Garda'.

This was the day that we were taken on a trip up into the Dolomites, not expecting to encounter snow as we got higher into the mountains.

This shot is taken through the window of the coach; note the barrier that I decided to leave in the frame.

Hello Jean,
The scenery is terrific and you were lucky, or maybe just clever, to manage such a sharp photo through the window of the coach. I wonder what that is looking like a giant wave near the lake, slightly left of the center of the photo.
I made a WS because I find the photo rather too evenly green. I hope you won't mind.

For much Belgian people a nice vacation destination.
An excellent panorama view with the city before the nice Lake.
Create nice depth and perspective about the Lake.
Nice composition with pleasant colours too.

Hello Jean,

I found through trial and error that using the sports action setting in my camera significantly reduced fg motion blur in shots taken from moving buses and trains. There is a slight cyan colour cast but that would be easy to fix. The view from your window was magnificent and well worth the effort to photograph. Tfs!

Hello Jean,
When taking pictures through a bus window, the glass acts as a filter to the outcome of the picture. Therefore, rightly done with the WS.
The landscape is an astonishing beauty, well conveyed in the photo.

Hello Jean,

The desire to record such scenery is overpowering! I know when we went through the Swiss Alps, I was constantly photographing through the window!
You have captured the lovely details of valley settlements and the contrasts with the towering, uninhabited mountains.

Wonderful this green plain with the town and a multitude of isolated houses in the middle of such a green landscape surrounded by mountains and on the shores of Lake Garda, a true beauty of northern Italy.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and magnificent composition; they are managed to perfection.

Hi Jean,
I was just passing this region but never had a chance to explore. It looks spectacular although of course the quality suffered being taken from the moving bus.
It works very inviting to visit.
Nice effect with the low hanging clouds.
Interesting contrast of the high mountains and very flat valley in between.

I knew only the ticino lake, garda in larger and even more famous. anyway there are so many things to see in italy it is impossible to see everything in a life.
despite the harsh conditions you got a nice perspective of the area and its mood.
I would like to suggest a video with photos of a famous brazilian photographer and a sacred song created by brazilians in 18th century. I guess you will like.
