Slowly its time to leave the Three Peaks for some other magnificent places in Bolzano. In the WS you can see me in the passenger's seat, photographing the graffiti on the side of the serpentine.

Hi Gyorgy,

This is a dark and moody photo that gives the feeling that a storm is about to break over us. No sign of humans here, just the rugged wilderness and the threatening clouds. Excellent sharpness and depth of field. It would be good to have more information here, such as where the photo was taken (a road? a walking track?), and what mountains we can see.

another mystical landscape scene, this is almost something righ out of a Lord Of The Rings movie - its just that cool.
so atmospheric. Its like the world is about to end. I wonder what the color version is like. cheers

I haven't seen Lord of the Rings, mentioned by Craig, but there is definitely something Hollywoodish about this scenery. You squeezed as much darkness as possible out of the clouds during processing. It looks like a rather scary place to go for a holiday.

Love the image, and yes it does look like a scene from the lord of the rings. I do like more contrast in my images with the brightest whites to the darkest blacks. just my opinion, but the greys are overtaking the image. I will do a workshop to show the difference. still a trademark of the one and only Gyurmaster.

Also a very dramatic looking picture of an almost lunar landscape. Almost lunar looking since the foreground shows plants.
Impressive mountain peaks under a dark cloudy sky.
