View from La-Palude at the parking lot before entered a cable-car ride up to Pointe-Helbronner on the slopes of the Mont-Blanc at an altitude of 2173m above sea-level. The parking lot is at 45.8183, 6.9637.

The summits from left to right: Dent-du-Geant, Aiguille-de-Rochefort and Aiguille-de-Leschaux.

Hi Ike,
A lovely view of the highest part of the Alps. I got a kind of nostalgic feeling of this parking place angle. It reminds me of road trips of my childhood, although we never left Finland. June is good time for mountain views, when there's still a lot of snow on mountains.

Ike, that parking is the departure before taking the lift and admire the magnificent landscape. The snow capped mountains appear majestically in the bg. Nice scene in the Alps. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hello Ike,
This is really a parking lot with a view. The fine weather created ideal conditions for taking good photos. The wide belt of dark green trees separates the impressive mountains from the parked cars, which gives a good structure to the composition. The photo is perfectly exposed.

Probably Europe's parking lot with the most impressive views.
The weather was very nice and this is a great picture with the densely forested lower slopes, the sharp peaks with eternal snow and the almost cloudless blue sky.

Usually , we try to avoid vehicules on our pictures , but there, the line of cars , then the green trees , then the marvelous ridge of high mountain , all those elements in an excellent composition .

Now, who wouldn't want that for a window view!!
Wow, the scenery is magnificent!

Although we don't always want modern cars in the frame, this angled line of vehicles helps with the composition, almost on a diagonal and adds colour to the greys and greens of the mountain scenery.

Hi Ike,
spectacular panorama of the mountains. The cars ruin a bit the idyllic mood but sometimes we cannot really avoid them, and luckily they are contained on a side without causing too much damage. In fact together with the family chatting in the middle -it adds a feeling of adventure which is about to begin.

as a car lover, this one makes me want to make a comment. I know right...beautiful mountains and I want to comment on the parked cars haha. Its funny to see such small cars, here in North America and especially in the US, almost everyone drives large cars and SUV's. Its very noticeable when I travel abroad. Fine shot with the trailing mountain range and clouds. cheers

Missed this one. Looks like Switzerland, Tyrol or the Canadian Rockies. Good sharpness and framing. The jagged snowcapped peaks add a spectacular backdrop. Tfs!

Beautiful day to take a ride by cable-car to Pointe-Helbronner. I hope you did this like other people because parking lot is full of cars. Nice panorama on Italian Alps.
