Photographer's Note

One of the most striking Lombard villas that, with its park, face the Naviglio Grande. It's characterized by a grand staircase that connects the villa to the canal. Built on the mid 17th century and early 18th century, probably over an ancient fortress since its located above a hill overlooking the Naviglio, with the design of Gerolamo Quadrio. Outstanding features include the beauty of the main fade: with porticos and two belvedere side towers, preceded by a long path outlined by low level buildings that once housed stables, carriage houses, and guest quarters. Entirely surrounded by greenery.
