Photographer's Note
Remains of the Temple of Dioscuri, within the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
The whole valley, with its temples and cemeteries is a great testimony greek settlement in Sicily.
In the background ... the modern buildings of the city, formerly called: "Akragas", (in ancient greek, Ἀκράγας).

Hello Francesco,
From the thumbnail, this looked like a huge, long-legged animal. However, it is no less spectacular as the remains of a temple!
Your composition, with the city in the b/g, gives the ruins an immense sense of size, because of the perspective.
You have used a fine dof, with good, well saturated colours.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Francesco,
Not that much remains of this temple but these four columns and the part of the entablature look impressive.
You present it well on the background of the blue sky.
Very attractive colours.
Nice with the view of Agrigento on the distance.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Francesco
Impressive ruined structure: I wonder if this is an archaeologist's reconstruction? I remember the rather crude efforts by Sir Arthur Evans at Knossos on Crete. But this seems much more sympathetic, and certainly gives us some idea of what the place may have been like in its heyday. Strong colours, and good juxtaposition with the new town - and modern railings!
Regards
Will

Hello Francesco,
The deep blue Mediterranean sky makes a superb backdrop to the ruined temple, with good sharpness and a fine, angled pov. The yellow red color of the stone contrasts well against the coller blue tones of the sky. Tfs.

Ciao Francesco
Une 頻e que j'aimerais bien visiter un de ces jours. Premi鑢ement pour voir vivre les siciliens, go鹴er leurs produits et voir ces oeuvres d'art d'un autre temps.C'est techniquement parfait.
