Photographer's Note
Dear friends,
few days ago I posted a photo to give all of you the best wishes of Happy New Year.
The photo you can see it in the workshop because it was removed from the moderators that have told me that it violated the rules of TE.
I understand that the photo in question is more suited for the site TrekLens, but I think it does not even make much sense to enroll in another site Trek, only to post a photo which also was the photo with which I wanted to wish Happy New Year to all you friends of this site and a glass of white wine had seemed appropriate to me for this event having nothing better.
Also there are other things I do not understand in this site.
The regulation says that it is forbidden to post pictures of friends and relatives, but it is not forbidden to post photos of other people.
What difference does if the photographed person is a friend or a stranger?
It's not possible to post photos of pets, mainly (dogs and cats).
But if these dogs and cats are stray is allowed to post their photos.
What difference does if a dog or a cat is pet or stray?
This site has lost the most number of your users because of this regulation very hard and I think losing the prestige it had before.
Even for me it time to go away permanently.
Best wishes,
Francesco

Ciao Francesco ,
As you say , it is not easy to understand the rules . And they could be less harsh , considering the strong fall of the members number . Your refelction of the building in the glass was inetersting and beautiful . What is the difference with a reflection in a christmas ball ?
Your last post is splendid too . A pity that you leave Te , even you were less active on the site .
Best wishes .

Ciao Francesco,
The rules are rules and in fact they aren't so bad. The main goal is here to show the world, what is characteristic for a place. The dogs and cats when they are the only theme, are more or less the same in the world. And if the pictures of our relatives or friends were allowed, we would have a lot such posed photos. Much more interesting is to see well observed street scenes with unknown people. I was also a bit angry sometimes, when my pictures were removed or someone else was hot tempered and left the side but in the end I have changed my attitude. The decision is yours.
I saw the photo in Workshop. It is beautiful and the view of the building in it is very attractive. Indeed, a pity that it was removed. Maybe the mods acted to quickly?
Excellent presentation of this ancient temple in Aggrigento.
Happy healthy prosperous New Year!

Hello Francesco,
I'm sad you are leaving TrekEarth, but I understand why.
If the technical team was as fast to solve the many issue as the moderator to remove some pictures, TrekEarth would have been a great website...

Bonjour, cher ami Francesco,

Buona giornata,Luciano
