The city of Volterra and its beautiful surroundings are probably in Tuscany, one of the most diversified and full of attractions. The indisputable historical tradition joins the beautiful nature that offers, from the morphology, to the vegetation, to the fauna, a truly impressive heritage.
In Volterra history has left its mark with continuity from the Etruscan period until the nineteenth century, with artistic and monumental testimonies of great importance, which can be admired simply walking through the streets of the historic center, but also visiting the city's museums: the Museum Etruscan, the Civic Art Gallery, the Museum of Sacred Art, the Alabaster Ecomuseum.

Hello Silvio,
The red and white table-cloths and the menus waiting for the guests make this square look inviting. What a joy to have a good meal here while watching the magnificent palace just a few meters away. You composed this photo very nicely and exposed it perfectly.

Ciao caro Silvio,

A fascinating note and a beautiful photograph from Volterra - I just want to step into this picture, sit down by one of these tables and relax and enjoy the magnificent buildings around this piazza.

You have composed this photograph perfectly, the tables with their red and white cloths make a wonderful foreground feature yet are not intrusive as they are in relative shade. Our eyes are then drawn to the more brightly lit buildings farther away, beautifully portrayed against a lovely blue sky.

I see a large wooden platform being built - is that maybe for some outdoor concert or play being performed?

la bella piazza di Volterra, utilizzata anche per girare "I Medici", � ben illuminata da sole.
Vedo che fervono lavori, in questa piazza succede sempre qualcosa.
Dovresti vederla ad agosto, quando si svoge "AD 1398".

I like the contrast between the lit buildings and the shaded foreground. The chairs and tables look inviting and add interest to the square. The fa鏰des attract attention because of the many fine details and the many different shapes of the windows. Well done.
