Abbey of San Pietro in Valle - Macenano - Ferentillo (TR)
Probably the abbey, now predominantly Romanesque in appearance, was built on the remains of a previous building, in turn built above an older Roman villa or, more likely, a pagan sanctuary.
Of the first construction of the VI - VIII century, a cross - shaped patibulum with a large longitudinal hall, perhaps with two small aisles, today remains the area of the transept and of the three apses.
