Although I still have a lot of photos from the historic streets of Bolzano, I don't want to bore you to tears my TE-friends, so I show you the cloister of the Franciscan Monastery instead.

I wouldn't say that the boy saved the picture, because it would have been a good photo in any case. But he really brightens the composition. It's a beautiful cloister and it does very well in B&W, as shown also in the WS. You handled the light so well that I have to add this to my favourites.

This works very well in black and white, emphasising the columns and the roof. I like the inclusion of the child, a ghost from the past maybe.

Hello Gyorgy,

What a well composed view of the cloister!
You use the repeating elements and the converging lines to great effect.
The small figure is the icing on the cake!
The perfect, mysterious focal point, at the end of our journey!

No other photograph necessary, really, and yet you show us one with equal beauty, just missing the figure!

Great use of b&w!

A beautiful photo of the cloister. I really like the beauty of the vaults, columns and arches, especially in this gentle light. Good inclusion of the child at the end of the corridor too.

Nice capture, with the little boy running towards us. The stone floor and pointed arches are beautiful, and this scene looks great in B/W. Take care!
