Photographer's Note

Today I show you something from my village that I had never posted. This is the avenue that leads to the cemetery, and I could not have chosen a better atmosphere, because it is certainly a sad street. Created in the 80s to allow the passage of funeral processions, it is closed to vehicular traffic. For some years, however, also the processions have been eliminated to avoid traffic blocks in the remaining part of the path that leads from the church to the cemetery, and therefore it has become only a place for pleasant walks.

Oggi vi mostro qualcosa dal mio villaggio che non avevo mai postato. Questo � il viale che porta al cimitero, e non potevo scegliere migliore atmosfera, perch� � sicuramente una strada triste. Creato negli anni 80 per consentire il passaggio dei cortei funebri, � chiuso al traffico veicolare. Da qualche anno per� anche i cortei sono stati eliminati per evitare blocchi della circolazione nella parte restante del percorso che porta dalla chiesa al cimitero, e quindi � diventanto solo un posto per piacevoli passeggiate.

Lep pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lepo drvece pored staze sa setnju, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa coveko koji seta psa.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija.
Lep i mistican trenutak sa maglom.

Hello Luciano, this long alley with the line of trees disappearing somewhere far away reminds me of photos by John. Very melancholic view, especially when we know that this path goes to the cemetery. Excellent winter composition.

Fog is always makes a difficult photography, but you managed fairly well to convey the ambiance here.
The naked trees in th trail and the man walk his dog superbly animate and enliven the scene.

So you could call it a "last trip" or something like that because this is the last road they are passing on the way to their final destination on the Earth.
Lovely array of the trees and the fog makes a nice effect too.
Person walking dogs adds some life.

Hello Luciano,
It's a well chosen title, although it doesn't describe everything we see. The strongest impression is made by the deep view along the street lined by trees, and the many diagonal lines. The dog sniffing through the wet leaves is a good sign of happy life in the street of the dead.

Hello Luciano,
A long avenue with trees on either side. This must be a paradise for the dog. However, a great deal of patience is expected from the dog owner to make a stop at each tree :)
Excellent perspective.
The end of the avenue mysteriously disappears into the fog.

Hi Luciano,
Long rows of trees bring shots of John to my mind. Without the man and the dog this would look too empty, but this actually made me smile. Interesting how details disappear completely towards the end of the path.

looks a beautiful avenue. I liked a lot the visual created by the fog and the presence of the personage and the dog. yesterday at sunset our sky became illuminated in yellow because the ashes of Tonga Island volcano.

Ciao Caro Luciano,

It may seem sad but when you have to go, this is a rather grand avenue for your send off!
This looks like a photograph from John, where the tall, upright trees form a double line, receding into the distance, creating an excellent sense of depth and perspective. The figure and dog provide a focus point, whilst the mist adds more atmosphere.

I went to the dentist this morning and nearly late as the mist was so dense!!!

We have had many of such grey and foggy days lately as well. A nice view down the path with trees on either side, which emerge nicely from the dog. The dog walking person is well included also.

A wonderful perspective, in this composition that shows us the calm and pleasant walk with those two lines of trees, which are lost in the fog, the boy with his dog gives a good vital touch.
