Happy Mother's day, a photo from Milan, Lombardia

Photographer's Note

Given the age of the members of this site, I think that not many will be able to celebrate Mother's Day in the presence, but they will certainly bring a flower to the cemetery, myself included. A day that brings so many memories that it is right to celebrate, mum is always mum. Photo taken at the entrance to my village park of this work done by the same group of women who made the big Easter egg that I had posted earlier.

Considerata l'et� dei membri di questo sito, penso che non saranno in molti a poter celebrare la festa della mamma in presenza, ma sicuramente porteranno un fiore al cimitero, io compreso. Un giorno che porta a tanti ricordi che � giusto celebrare, la mamma � sempre la mamma. Foto scattata all'ingresso del parco del mio paese di questo lavoro fatto dallo stesso gruppo di donne che fecero il grande uovo di Pasqua che avevo postato in precedenza.

Hello Luciano,
It's many years since I even remembered Mother's Day (which seems to be on different dates in different countries). But a fine wall with an elegant gate and nice sculptures, and adorned with a red heart, is an attractive view which I would gladly see any time. The tree with pink flowers is also nice.

Ciao Luciano,
We celebrate the mother's day in Poland on 25th May but in England the date is different. This causes some confusion in our family because we live abroad.
Nice composition here which could well serve as a mother's day card.

Hello Luciano,
A good photo of this large, bright red heart in front of the door and the small pink flowers in the tree branches. The two small sculptures are a great bonus on either side as well.

Hello Luciano, Mother's Day is celebrated in March in the UK before Easter.
This is a lovely display presented for all mothers to see.
The red heart is so bright against the grey background.
I like the tree on the r/h/s with its' pink flowers.

I'm truly touched when you said , mum is always mum.
We all know that a mother抯 love is everlasting and unconditional ... this picture is so perfect , A Big Heart for Mama !!!
Too bad, my mother is in Malaysia. If I would call her ... to wish her Mother's Day, she'll say ... WHAAT ??? Typical chinese mum ! I know her so well and love her to bits :-)
Tfs ... this picture , so simple and yet so meaningful.

That is a beautiful decoration celebrating Mother's Day. Bright red is so intensive against the grey background. And flowers on the branches look lovely too.

Hello Luciano,
The customs differ in different regions and countries.
We also had Mother's Day yesterday. But I never heard of placing flowers on the grave of a deceased mother on that day.
Inside our country there is also one exception.
While in Belgium everyone celebrates Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May, the inhabitants of the city of Antwerp do this on 15 August. They're the only exceptions in our country.

This is a nice tributes to mothers everywhere. The red color is very eye-catching, and I like how this large heart nags on the older door. A bit of spring color is in the frame with those pink blossoms, too. Take care!

A nice tribute to mothers, with that intimate decoration at the entrance to the park of your town, although they are always in our thoughts and hearts, it is nice that they are honored one day in the year.

Buongiorno Luciano,
Strong contrast from red heart decoration to the door and wall with statues on sides. Also, nice plant with pibk flowers against the facade. Used well the mild light here.

Some can celebrate Mother's Day bringing flowers to their mamas, other can get flowers :). This is such a charming pictcure.
In Poland, the Mother's Day is on 26th of May.
