Hello Claude,

Not only is this a very beautiful area, with a river reflecting the colourful buildings, high, imposing hills and topped by a castle of huge proportions, but your composition is very well thought out, the river acting as a guide into the scene, with the castle very strongly positioned.
The scene is animated by a group of figures, also well positioned in the frame.
A really lovely photograph!

It's a terrific view of the castle high above the river, where the yellow and white buildings are perfectly reflected. The photo is leaning a bit to the left, but the general scenery is so nice that it doesn't really matter. I appreciate that you made sure to include the road with some people.

The photo is very well composed. The river and the path along it are well placed in the foreground, the calm water also adding some appealing reflections. The backdrop with the steep green hills and the castle looks also amazing. Great work.

Bonjour Jean Claude, we get a really good impression of just how high the castle stands above the valley from this point of view.
The buildings alongside the river provide some lovely reflections.
The people provide an alternative focal point.

its great how there is such thick lush trees in the city, keeps it real and less Big City-like. and of course having the castle up top is the best. cheers

Lovely view, well captured in a good pov. It does seem to be impressive. I visited Vianden when I was a kid with my parents on holiday, but I don't remember it being that beautiful. Maybe I ought to go back:)

Hi Jean Claude,
what a picturesque spot. There are several layers here as often in Luxembourg photos, even though it may be a different town. River provide such a vivid reflection of the array of the charming houses. The vegetation above seems so lush and at the very top an impressive castle.
