Window by night.

Sliema is a town in Malta, on a peninsula across Marsamxett Harbour from Valletta. Sliema and the coastline up to St. Julian's is Malta's main coastal resort and is ringed with modern apartment blocks.rnSliema got its name from the Our Lady of Good Voyage Chapel, that now no longer exists. It periodically served as a reference point for the sailors and fishermen in Marsamxett Harbour. The name could thus be connected with the first words of the Hail Mary prayer, which in Maltese is "Sliem Għalik Marija". Sliem is the Maltese word meaning peace. The construction age of the church is unknown but it was included in a map by the Order of St. John even before being handed the Maltese islands to them.rnrnMalta, officially known as the Republic of Malta (Maltese: Repubblika ta' Malta), is a Southern European island country consisting of an archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. It lies 80 km south of Italy, 284 km east of Tunisia, and 333 km north of Libya. The country covers just over 316 km2, with a population of just under 450,000 (despite an extensive emigration programme since the Second World War), making it one of the world's smallest and most densely populated countries. The capital of Malta is Valletta, which at 0.8 km2, is the smallest national capital in the European Union. Malta has two official languages: Maltese and English.

Another attractive close up of an interesting window. This time with a barred fence and again with fascinating colours and lightning.
The purple shadow gives extra depth to the scene.

Bonjour Krzysztof,

Une fen阾re qui ne peut pas 阾re plus ferm閑 vers l'ext閞ieur ainsi que sur l'int閞ieur. Par contre j'aime beaucoup la douceur des couleurs qui forme comme un arc en ciel.

W nocy to trzeba spać, a nie chodzić z aparatem i zaglądać do okien. dobrze zabezpieczone, i okiennice zamkniete, i jeszcze kraty. Fajne kolory i cienie.

I like the shadow play here from the top lighting, angled on a diagonal which heightens the dynamism. Good sharpness and attractive blue magenta tints. Tfs!

in this composition I like the effect of the shadows as well as the combination of warm and cold colours. You observed and captured those effects in an apt way, this is the evening aspect of the window, created by the particular lighting circumstances of this hour. The window is elegant and mysterious.
