Street by night.

Sliema is a town in Malta, on a peninsula across Marsamxett Harbour from Valletta. Sliema and the coastline up to St. Julian's is Malta's main coastal resort and is ringed with modern apartment blocks.rnSliema got its name from the Our Lady of Good Voyage Chapel, that now no longer exists. It periodically served as a reference point for the sailors and fishermen in Marsamxett Harbour. The name could thus be connected with the first words of the Hail Mary prayer, which in Maltese is "Sliem Għalik Marija". Sliem is the Maltese word meaning peace. The construction age of the church is unknown but it was included in a map by the Order of St. John even before being handed the Maltese islands to them.rnrnMalta, officially known as the Republic of Malta (Maltese: Repubblika ta' Malta), is a Southern European island country consisting of an archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. It lies 80 km south of Italy, 284 km east of Tunisia, and 333 km north of Libya. The country covers just over 316 km2, with a population of just under 450,000 (despite an extensive emigration programme since the Second World War), making it one of the world's smallest and most densely populated countries. The capital of Malta is Valletta, which at 0.8 km2, is the smallest national capital in the European Union. Malta has two official languages: Maltese and English.

I love these series of windows and door. Beautiful close ups that yet tell a story about the region where you found them.
Fascination to see the transition from blue/purple to green in this scene.

an almost abstract composition ; its limited palette is very appealing and it shows how trained your eye is. The result is well balanced and turns adverse lighting conditions into a successful shot.

You have a good close subject of characterful green door/window which actually sets the eyes on. Lovely detail on the stonework too and there's a lovely mix of lighting and subtle shades. Lovely catch from this view point and you exposure is seamless. Congrats

this narrow facade seems to belong to a more modest but very neat and elegant house. The shut door and window as well as the hint that the interior is dark, create a sense of mystery. I like how the colours and the atmosphere are affected by the cold street light, the shadows make a great contribution to the eerie atmosphere too. Congratulations and thank you!
