Photographer's Note

Fake news seems to exist too. Many people, me included, read the news in their mobile phones nowadays. It's easy, comfortable and free. In Chisinau it's possible to read the news in public parks for free , in a glass case as we can see here. These two people seems to prefer the electronic edition.

The woman in the foreground is unfortunately a bit unsharp, but situations with two people can sometimes be tricky even for quite modern cameras, and I hadn't enough time to correct for the focus problem before she was out of sight.

Hi Boa,i never seen this way to read the newspapers,interesting thing to who haven't money to buy one and in this poor country there are surely someone. A great contrast with the use of mobile to do the same,a perfect composition despite the not best sharpness. I like a lot the 2 WS too,especially the view of the buildings that reminds me where the abkhazian refugees lives in Georgia. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

A very nice photo with these two different ways of gathering news next to one another. The two people walking and looking at their mobile phones are an all too common sight nowadays. Well spotted and captured.

Hello Boa, There are five (recognized) countries in Europe that I haven't visited and Moldova is one of them. And probably it will remain like this. But these three pictures present interesting views. Using mobiles is now global. When travelling, I use my mobile as GPS and map, it is important and makes travelling easier.

A moment caught that is very common nowadays everywhere: the cell-phone keep people occupied all the time with it/
What is unusual, is the displayed newspapers on several stands - a commu era heritage.

Moderna m鋘niskor, men ett s鋞t att visa upp dagens tidning i montrar som k鋘ns otroligt gammalmodigt. Det f錼 mig att t鋘ka p� bilder fr錸 kriget n鋜 folk samlades p� Tegelbacken eller Stureplan f鰎 att l鋝a vad ST eller DN rapporterade om bombningar och blockader. Den l鋞ta osk鋜pan p� damen 鋜 helt okej. Det 鋜 ju vad bilden visar som 鋜 det viktiga.
Sj鋖v tyckte jag att Chisinau var en t鋗ligen trist stad, men du kanske gillade den. Du borde 錵a till Baku (om du inte kanske nyss har varit d鋜), d鋜 det finns mycket sovjetiskt kvar men en v鋖dig massa nytt och riktigt fint ocks�.

I remember reading the news on the newspapers on the wall, this is absolutly obsolete except for theold persons who do not use mobile phones, internet....
