" No Hurry, SUP Slowly ", a photo from Noord-Brabant, South

Photographer's Note

This kind of activity is gaining popularity in Netherlands as I've found out from the internet.

It's called SUP, short for Stand Up Paddle.
I think everyone can do it, you only need to be able to swim and have a little sense of balance.
If not, you can still SUP on your knees ( seen WS1 ).
Seeing the fun ... I wish I had joined them :-)

The mural wall ( right ) is called 'Sailors and Recreationist' by Hedof ( Rick Berkelmans ).
It shows the 'key figures' of this neighborhood - sailors, recreationists and passing families.

Whereas the building with stairs ( left ) is Royal Military Academy.
The white canvas tents b/g, it's a podium ( temporary ) for Breda Jazz Festival 2022.
A live stage performance , next to the Spanjaardsgat.
Again, the tower is the 'Grote Kerk'.

Hello Loong,
This is an interesting city scene, with a little of everything. The turquoise paddle boards stand out, but I also like the art and architecture. This activity isn抰 for me, but it does look popular. Take care!

SUP is probably a good activity for the Netherlands with all its canals. A well composed photo with the leading towards that impressive building.

Hello Loong,
Managed to combine four subjects in one photo. Water sport and graffiti with architecture, and the canal barges.
All wonderfully filled the picture space.

Hello Loong,
A very good picture, full of life and action, colours and interesting sights. It's well balanced and you have written an informative note telling us all we need to know about what we see. It's a perfect contribution to TE, and it's entertaining. The WS is a good complement showing us how to start a career as a SUP-er.

Hello Loong,
A good photo of the many people supping down the canal here, I've often seen people doing it, but had no idea where the name came from. The church tower makes great backdrop and also the colourful mural is a nice detail.

Hi Loong,the mural seen in both photos offers a good point of reference for understanding the direction of the two perspectives. The first is really rich and offers interesting architectures. But the post is dedicated to this sport that is gaining momentum, I think I would be able to do it just by sitting and paddling with my hands in the water .. ahaha ... congratulations for the quality and good evening! Hello Loong,
I also saw this sport being practiced in Spain.
Probably a very pleasant leisure activity in this warm summer.
The distance between the various SUPers and the Grote Kerk of Breda in the distance gives the photo a lot of depth.
