A bike ride in the morning � 1癈elsius

TE friends, here I am back after a period of illness, luckily no corona or serious problems.
I also had to do a lot of domestic tasks during my absence at TE.
I hope I can stay on my beloved site, but everyone sees that one little thing interrupts everything

Sint-Kruis Netherlands, 10 km of my home

Development direction
After installation, St. Kruis will form an important link in the Zwin-Passageule-Braakman ecological connection. A continuous zone of nature reserves is created where many species can live

landscape structure is strongly related to the relief and the water management: on the low, wet
In places there is an alternation of wet roughage, reed land, open water and grasslands, on the higher dry areas
In parts, a mosaic of flower-rich grassland, dry brush and scrub is created. The
surface ratios strongly depend on the initial situation and the grazing pressure.

The length of the canal is creating depth. You have captured well the action of the fisherman. The point of view is showing the details of the vegetation and of the trees. Have a nice day.

Hello John,
I am glad to see you recovered and back. This is a very nice view of fields and reeds at the time when winter is slowly turning into spring. The canal, or river, balances the view well, but of course the the small jetty and the man preparing his fishing equipment are the supreme focal points. As usual you handled the bright light well.

Back to nature beauty.. what a tranquil wetland enriched by such wonderful deep colours and tones. That's a well chosen moment and he adds perspective and total strength of this compo which renders a visual appeal especially with its subtle lighting..

Hello John,
I had noticed that you weren't posting recently, and I wondered if you were o.k. I'm glad to read that you are recovering. The warm sunlight really brings out the golden colors in this scene, and the man in the foreground is a good focal point. I like that he's standing near the small, wooden platform. Take care!

Beautiful winter morning.
We can still see some frost in the shaded areas while the rest of the landscape has pleasant warm colors. The fisherman adds an interest and action in the foreground.

Hallo John,
Prachtige combinatie van de goudgele kleur van het riet en de egaal blauwe lucht die zich ook in het water weerspiegelt.
Het zal inderdaad een heel koude ochtend geweest zijn. We zien de vorst nog op het gras in de schaduw en op de kleine steiger.
Hopelijk is deze visser warm genoeg gekleed.
Mooie compositie, veel diepte en een perfect scherp beeld.

Hello John,

I, too, have had to let TE take a back seat for a while.

This is a scene which is so relaxing to observe; how different from what we are observing on TV!
The side light is glorious, illuminating one side with a golden glow.
The fisherman is strongly positioned, surrounded by mud, whilst his shadow helps to give strength to his presence.
I like how the stream winds away into the distance and a strong vanishing point.
