It is tulip time again in Holland. This is a view on a field on the island Goeree Overflakkee in the delta of the southern part of the Netherlands. On the background the new Dutch wiindmills to generate electricity.

Hi Hendrik. I very much like this composition of the tulips and windmills. Such a bright sunny image. How much I would love to visit the Netherlands to see this type of scene during the spring (I was only in Holland once, a long time ago during the summer, and we didn't see any tulips unfortunately). I'll have to check your upcoming shots.

Typically Dutch! Great mix of 2 associations of the "national symbols" of this country, not to mention the perfect perspective u've chosen and the great simplicity used here. Well done.

Hoi Hendrik,

Mooie foto, mooie laag punt heb je genomen voor je foto. Geeft een bijzondere compositie met die rij windmolens, aparte symmetrie. Moet wel zeggen dat ik de foto lichtjes overexposed vind; had hem zelf wat donkerder gelaten. Maar een mooie compositie!
