A nice simple picture with good strong elements. I thought for a moment the canal was tilted, but I see the tower in the rear is straight; it's just the tree fools the eye about that.

We do need a note, though.

Hi Peter,

Funny to see there's a town called Portugaal in the Netherlands. I didn't know it and I'm Dutch. Looked it up and it really exists. With double 'O' though ;-).
I do like the compo as you present it here, the little ditch in the foreground leads the eye nicely. A bit dark in the foreground though. You have to look carefully to see the ducks. And yes, a note would have made it a 2-pointer ;-).
