Photographer's Note
This is the statue called "Destroyed City" in Rotterdam by night. It is made by Ossip Zadkine. The whole centre of Rotterdam was bombed by Germany May 1940. The city lost its hart. I wanted to show a difference between day and night of the same subject.

C'est très beau ; il aurait fallu mettre en flou, l'arrière plan qui est tlrop marqué.

Deze foto is naar mijn mening gezien het puntenaantal zwaar ondergewaardeerd!
Het standbeeld zelf belichaamt al dramatiek, en dat wordt nog eens prachtig versterkt door het sterke licht dat er achter vandaan komt. Ik vind dit een heel sterke foto.

Hi Hendrik. Ik zag toevallig dat je geantwoord had. Inderdaad deze is geweldig met dat licht op de achtergrond.
