A view at an old part of Schiedam with one of the mills that are situated near the old canals.
Schiedam is an very nice little old town wich is famous in Holland for it's jenever. A strong typical Dutch kind of gin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schiedam_Centrum_railway_station

Nice composition.. liked the effect the windmill gives the whole pic, adds to the eerie feeling infact!

Een hele mooie foto. Doet het goed in wit/zwart. Ziet er oud oud uit hoewel de auto's het tegendeel vertellen. Ik had de compositie een ietsje lichter willen zien.
Toch we l mooi met die molen en die afgemeerde platbodems.

Not the best conversion from color to B/W... very muddy tones, needs robust range of tones including pure black somewhere and at least a spot of white.. suggest not using photoshop desaturate commands, try RGB channels instead...
